Registration

Registration will open in late June/early July.

Work With us

It takes over 100 people to make the NAMT Festival happen every year. Here are some of the ways you can join our team!

VOLUNTEERS

We are always looking for friendly and motivated volunteers to help out at our Festival each year.  Volunteers help guide our patrons, help out at the registration table, ensure patrons get to the right shows and much more!  We ask that a volunteer be able to give us at least four hours, when possible.  We also let our volunteers see as many readings as possible.  If you are interested in helping out at the Festival as a volunteer, please e-mail Festival@namt.org expressing your interest.

DIRECTORS AND MUSIC DIRECTORS

Though the majority of our directors and music directors come either from a direct recommendation from the writers or have previously worked with us, we periodically do need to widen our search.  We look for directors and music directors who have worked on musicals at top-tier regional theatres, Off Broadway and/or Broadway, and especially at those who have previous experience working on AEA staged readings of musicals in New York City. If you are interested in directing or music directing for the Festival, please send an e-mail with your resume to branden@namt.org before the end of July.

ACTORS

All of our casting is handled by Michael Cassara Casting and done through direct offers with no auditions held.  Actors are selected in collaboration with the creative team, Cassara Casting and the NAMT office.  We look for actors with experience at top-tier regional theatres, Off Broadway and/or Broadway, and especially at those who have previous experience working on AEA staged readings of musicals in New York City. If you are interested in being considered for any of our Festival shows, please e-mail your headshot and resume to Michael Cassara Casting at submissions@michaelcassara.net.
