DARRAH CLOUD’S most recent work includes two new plays, OUR SUBURB, and the 2011 recipient of the Macy’s New Play Prize, WHAT’S BUGGING GREG? THE STICK WIFE continues to be produced throughout the U.S. and Europe. HEARTS ARE WILD, an original rock musical with composer George Griggs opened in Pittsburgh at City Theater. SABINA, a chamber musical about Jung, Freud and Sabina Spielrein, with book by Willy Holtzman and music by Louise Beach, is in the works, as is CLUB CALIFORNIA, a musical about prostitutes in Kosovo, with composer Craig Safan. She is an alumna of the Writer’s Workshop at the University of Iowa (poetry and playwriting) and New Dramatists in New York City. She teaches in the MFA Program in Writing at Goddard College. Her movies, The Haunted and Undercover Christmas among others play repeatedly on the Sci-Fi and Lifetime Channels.

Jeff’s scores include: Young Abe Lincoln (TheatreworksUSA, Miracle of 2 Prod.), Disney’s Doug Live! (Walt Disney World), 100 Years Into The Heart (currently optioned-SBT-Winner of 7 Spirit Awards, including best new work and best score, NYMF), Top of the Heap (Gallery Players, SBT, Cardiff Global Search for New Musicals, Curtain Call), Merrilee Mannerly (currently optioned-STONC), Benedict Arnold (Commissioned-SBT), Rebels 1775 (Starlight Theatre, SBT) and A Merry Mulberry Street Musical (Curtain Call), About Face (NAMT, Global Search), Nice People, currently working on Love On Ice. Jeff was awarded a Meet the Composer Grant by the New England Foundation for the Arts. He is also a Music Director and arranger, most recently the World premieres of Liberty, A Monumental Musical & The Kid Who Would Be Pope. Kim Sherman

KIM SHERMAN has written scores for O PIONEERS!, HONOR SONG FOR CRAZY HORSE, HEARTLAND, and THE BOXCAR CHILDREN with her long-time collaborator, Darrah Cloud. She is the recipient of a Sloan Foundation grant for her opera ADA, which is also one of four operas chosen for a developmental reading with Center For Contemporary Opera in 2012. Other works include THE TWO ORPHANS (book by Theresa Rebeck and lyrics by Ms. Rebeck and John Sheehy) which had workshops with New York Stage & Film, Hartford Stage and New York Theatre Workshop, and was produced at Brandeis University and SMU. She was commissioned by Imagination Stage to write the musical THE ARABOOLIES OF LIBERTY STREET with the renowned children’s author, Sam Swope. She has written numerous “incidental music” scores for plays in regional theaters throughout the US. She is a regular composer volunteer with The 52nd Street Project.
