Virtual Casting: Staying on track during the crisis and beyond

While little is known about what the coming months will hold, many member organizations acknowledge the need to start producing as soon as possible once it’s safe to do so. Casting during a time like this can be a challenge, but many theatres are seizing this opportunity to use new platforms and approaches, in hopes of being as ready as possible for when the time comes.

 

Michael Cassara, CSA is NAMT’s resident casting director and has cast the NAMT Festival of New Musicals every October since 2013. He and his team work regularly with many of the top regional theatres in the nation, along with musicals and plays in New York, on tour, and in development worldwide. This webinar will offer an overview of available options – leading to a more informal discussion and Q&A, offering an opportunity for members to share concerns and resources during these uncertain times.
