Anna Glover brings over two decades of international experience in theatre safety, risk management, and organizational resilience. Currently serving as Director of Theatre Safety and Occupational Health at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and Yale Repertory Theatre, Anna also holds an appointment as Assistant Professor Adjunct.
Before relocating to the United States, Anna led safety programs at two of the UK’s most iconic institutions—serving as Head of Health and Safety at Southbank Centre and Head of Safety, Risk, and Fire Management at the Royal National Theatre in London. In the U.S., they worked with the Ambassador Theatre Group before joining Yale.
Anna specializes in fostering positive, behavior-based safety cultures and integrating risk literacy into creative and production processes. Based in Connecticut, they continue to consult with arts organizations across both the U.S. and the UK, helping teams reframe their approach to safety as a strategic asset that supports bold, effective theatre-making.
