Songwriter Spotlight – 2009

Broadway at Birdland
On September 7th, 2009 we presented our first NAMT Songwriter Spotlight, at Jim Caruso’s Broadway at Birdland in New York City. Featuring songwriters who have participated in NAMT’s Festival of New Musicals over the past 20 years, this concert spotlighted five writing teams who discussed their Festival shows, shared what they are working on now, and invited their Broadway pals to perform their songs.
