Playbill reports that NAMT member Segal Centre for Performing Arts recorded their production of The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz, with a little-known score by Alan Menken (Festival 2003, The Ballad of Little Pinks).
No label or release date have been set, but the producers wanted to capture the Montreal cast, led by Ken James Stewart, while they were still all in one place, so vocal tracks were being laid down today, with plans to add enhanced orchestral tracks later, a member of the production team told Playbill.com.
