PAST RECIPIENTS

 


2010 grants were given to the following not-for-profit member theatres:


Production Grants:
Dallas Theater Center (Dallas, TX), in a co-production with The Public Theater (New York, NY), for Giant by Michael John LaChuisa and Sybille Pearson, with support from Dallas Summer Musicals. 

Ford’s Theatre
(Washington, DC) for Liberty Smith by Adam Abraham, Eric R. Cohen, Marc Madnick and Michael Weiner, which was presented in NAMT’s 2000 Festival of New Musicals, with support from The ASCAP Foundation Irving Caesar Fund.

The Human Race Theatre Co.
(Dayton, OH) for right next to me by Gregg Coffin, with support from Theatre Under The Stars.  Coffin is an alumnus from NAMT’s 2000 Festival of New Musicals for Convenience.  

TheatreWorks
(Palo Alto, CA) for A Christmas Memory by Larry Grossman, Carol Hall and Duane Poole, with support from The Ann Palmer Foundation.  Grossman is an alumnus of NAMT’s 1995 Festival of New Musicals for Paper Moon and Hall is an alumna for Good Sports in 1993.

Project Development Grants:
CAP 21 (New York, NY) for Next Thing You Know by Ryan Cunningham and Joshua Salzman, with support from Stacey Mindich Productions.  Cunningham and Salzman are alumni of NAMT’s 2005 Festival of New Musicals for I Love You Because.

Lark Play Development Center (New York, NY) for Love Kills by Kyle Jarrow, who is an alumnus of NAMT’s 2009 Festival of New Musicals for Hostage Song.

Village Theatre (Issaquah, WA) for Oneida by Beth Blatt and Daniel Green. Blatt is an alumna of NAMT’s 2005 Festival of New Musicals for Princess Caraboo.


Early Collaboration Grant:

Theater Latte Da (Minneapolis, MN) for Through Ellis Island by Dan Chouinard and Peter Rothstein.
