New Works Summit 2009
"Regional Models of Producing New Musicals"
August 14, 2009 in Issaquah, WA
The National Alliance for Musical Theatre is excited to announce that our New Works Summit will now be held regionally each year so the membership and alumni can experience the new work being created around the country.
This year on Friday, August 14th we will host the New Works Summit at the Village Theatre in Issaquah, Washington just 20 miles east of Seattle. The Summit will be held at Pogacha Restaurant in Issaquah.
Agenda: The Summit this year will focus on Regional Models for Producing New Musicals, starting at 1pm and ending with a wine and cheese networking hour at 4:30pm. Click here to see more details.
Shows: The Summit is being held in Seattle so we can all attend the Village Theater's Festival of New Musicals over the weekend, where they will present 6 new musicals in staged reading format. Also, all Summit attendees will have the opportunity to see the world premiere of Catch Me If You Can, the Broadway-bound musical from the creators of Hairspray, for free at The 5th Avenue Theatre! Click here to read more about Catch Me If You Can and the great line-up at the Village Theater Festival.
The cost of this year's summit is only $35 (which includes free tickets to the Village Theatre Festival shows, Catch Me If You Can, and the wine-and-cheese reception at the end of the Summit)
