Welcome

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre, founded in 1985, is the only national service organization dedicated exclusively to musical theatre. Our 140+ members include theatres, booking and presenting organizations, universities, and individual producers. Located throughout 30 states and 8 countries, member companies vary substantially in size, structure, and purpose, reflecting the increasing diversity of the field. Their common bond is a shared commitment to preserve and enhance musical theatre as the art form that is America’s contribution to world theatre.

Among the many musicals launched by NAMT's annual Festival of New Musicals are Thoroughly Modern Millie, Children of Eden, HONK!, The Drowsy Chaperone, Ruthless!, Flight of the Lawnchair Man, Princesses, Songs for a New World, and many others!
